Eagle Creek Lumber & Sawmill, located near Arlington, Ohio, was founded by Tom Stahl. As a boy, I grew up in a home of a building contractor and was able to work with my father. He bestowed a work ethic and an appreciation for craftmanship. I was fortunate to marry a wife whose father was a professional cabinet builder, and I was able to work in his cabinet shop and learn many additional skills in woodworking. This was just a start of a long journey which has finally progressed into starting my own small woodworking business.

Over the years, I've struggled to find quality hardwood and wood slabs at affordable prices, which led me to purchase my own portable sawmill and wood kiln to process my own wood and to provide quality hardwood, slabs, and woodworking projects for others.

• In 2020, started making Live Edge tables and Epoxy River tables in Ostrander, Ohio.
• In 2021, moved from Ostrander to outside of Arlington, Ohio. Built new barn and shop to expand the business.
• In 2022, purchased a TimberKing Sawmill and an I-Dry Kiln. Started purchasing hardwood and hardwood logs, doing custom sawmilling, and custom kiln drying of hardwood.
